Los angeles, and this is americas late news, fox news at night. And breaking tonight, its not exactly neck and neck in michigan. Looks like former President Trump and President Biden are both dominating their respective contests. And it appears a rematch between the two is very likely. But there are wild cards tonight. President biden facing a fairly significant uncommitted vote in Battle Ground michigan and nikki haley with another big decision. Bret baier is live with more on the significance of these results. Bret, i guess to the republicans first, it looks like the former president is doing a pretty good job of dominating his race nah yay yeah, trace, good evening, it is a shellacking in the republican primary in michigan. Right now tonight 16 delegates up for grands another 39 in the republican conference convention, the District Convention this weekend. 55 in all. If you look at this, here you see the breakdown. About 192,000 votes separating, but if you look a little closer into some of these counties, heres macomb county. This is kind of the workingclass, this is the home to traditional reagan democrats. It is now trump country. If you look at some of these other counties, oakland county, again a big spread. If you go over to, lets see, here we go, this is home to the University Of Michigan, if there was going to be a county in which nikki haley was going to succeed, it was going to be in this one of the biggest democrat strong holds and even there theres a spread. Now, you go further north and hes picking up huge numbers. Here in Herron County 72 to 22 . This almost end up being a massive spread by the time you get to all of the votes coming in. And if you drew a line right here, about 15 of the state is above that line. This is all big trump country, and it is a signal for the general election as well. Trace yeah, i mean, you look at that bret, 40 points is a big number. Now to the democrat side here, theres this uncommitted vote that seems like its fairly significant. Your thoughts . Reporter it is. Its significant. I mean, right now at 14 . This uncommitted vote is led by Rashida Tlaib and others protesting the Administration Policy on israel and the war with hamas in gaza. Again we go back to some of these counties just very quickly, you see 13 there, livingston county, 11 , but then we go again to the University Of Michigan and youre at 21 . Interestingly enough, ann arbor, the specific town, is up to about 32 for uncommitted. Its not a great signal. It does it is a Warning Signal for democrats, and, as you get to the general election, theyre going to look at the vulnerability there in michigan as well as the union vote that has trended towards donald trump as well. I want to take you really quickly to the calendar and just to show you where we are, obviously michigan here at the end of february, and as we go to march, the biggest, the big contests is super tuesday, 15 states, 11 of them open primaries. The question is whether nikki haley stays in through that. What the trump folks are now saying is that it could be the 12th, it could be the 19th. But they expect to lock up the needed 1215 delegates for the former president to officially mathematically clinch the nomination. Trace and i dont think anybody doubts that breath bear the chief political anchor that you remember. Lets bring in roman along with Washington Examiner political and Investigative Reporter sarah bedford. Thank you both for coming on. Roman to you first, i want to put up immigration because its the number one topic. I found this interesting because gallop asked the question, illegal immigration the threat level critical 55 , important 31 , 86 , almost nine in ten, say that immigration is critical or important. That is significant. Absolutely. It goes to show that every state has now become a border state, and no matter what way you cut it, theres really only one reason for that, and it is joe bidens lack of policy when it comes to the border. He has been weak from day one of his administration. Hes not only cut back the trump policies that helped keep our communities safe and helped keep our borders secure but now hes floating the idea he might bring some of them back just in time for some of these primary elections. Hes really reading into the polls and knows he needs to eat up on those numbers or hes going to have a real problem come november. In my opinion hes going to have that problem either way because the American People can see loud and clear that he has not cared about this issue and quite literally americans are dying every single day at the hand of these Illegal Immigrants that are coming into our country. Trace sarah, i want to get your take on this Democratic Rep we talked about this with bret, Rashida Tlaib saying michigan should vote uncommitted, it was 14, 14 and a half , a big number in a Battle Ground state where 14 are willing to vote uncommitted. Thats a warning for the democrats. Yeah, trace, it was a significant number of democrats who showed up, who took the time to show up in this primary to vote uncommitted. It was more than 17,000 votes this evening. That is greater than the margin that Hillary Clinton lost the election by in 2016. Trace yeah, youre right. Nikki haley roma, by the way, i have to ask, nikki haley lost by 40, looks like 40 right now, thats a big number. She says shes going through super tuesday. Is she going to make it . You know, nicky is in this race for herself. The American People clearly do not want her as their candidate. So regardless of whether she stays in the race or not, President Trump had a huge win tonight. He obviously is the leader of our party and hes the obvious leader for michigan. One thing that President Trump mentioned in his speech tonight was the auto workers, and you hear a lot from the Main Stream Media about the muslim vote that biden is losing, hes also losing the vote of our auto workers, they do not feel supported by joe bidens policies or posture towards them and the made in America Manufacturing necessary for that state. Trace and i want to put this up because this is john fabbro the former obama advisor saying this on a podcast about joe biden. Watch and ill get your final answer sarah. He sounds more frail than he used to, even in 2019 and 2020. Now, that may, and i think doesnt, have anything to do with how sharp he is mentally. But the voice sounds frail and he shuffles more because of the arthritis in his back. So, for most people in the country who are just watching him be president , what do they see when they turn on the television. Trace its a great question, sarah. What do they see when theyre just watching him be president. What do they see . Well, to be frank, trace, they see a president in decline. It is a why Donald Trumps age, which is close on paper to joe bidens, is not an issue while bidens is. Donald trump now is the same donald trump of five years ago, of ten years ago. The joe biden of today is noticeably less sharp than when he ran in 2020, and it is its not really a Fixable Problem for the white house right now because the more they put joe biden out there to try to rebut these claims that theyre hiding the president away the more that americans see that his age really is an issue, so its just such a line for democrats. Trace if there is a fix we have not seen it. Sarah bedford, roman, thank you both. Meantime in a georgia courtroom we had some baffling testimony concerning misconduct against Fulton County da against fani willis. Suddenly a Star Prosecutor cannot remember when they began their romantic relationship. Matt finn is live with forgetful testimony good evening. Reporter the former law partner of nathan wade, the special prosecutor accused of having an inappropriate relationship with District Attorney fani willis was pressed about when the relationship between willis and nathan wade began. Trump lawyers claim Terrance Bradley knows exactly whether the relationship started and he allegedly statedd in previous conversations that wade had a Garage Door Opener to williss home and that willis and wade may even have had sex in an office. Bradley testified he could not recall saying those statements and insisted he cant recall when willis and wade began dating, which trumps lawyers called into question. Do you tell lies about your friends . I have i told lies about friends . I could have. I dont know. Do you tell lies about your friends about a case of National Importance . Objection. Overruled. I could have. I dont know. Now, the date of when willis and wade began their romantic relationship is critical as Trump Lawyers argue it began before Willis Appointed Wade as a special prosecutor in trumps 2020 Georgia Election interference case. Allegedly creating a Conflict Of Interest in which willis also received financial benefits from wades pay. On friday, we expect to learn whether the judge will allow wades cell phone today at into evidence. Stay tuned trace. Trace we will stay tuned matt thank you. Former acting attorney general matt whitaker, matt great to have you on the show. Terrance bradley said in a text message that they absolutely started their relationship before nathan wade was appointed the special prosecutor, now hes like i dont know, i dont recall a hundred times. What do you make of all that . Well, a lot of it isnt going to matter. You know, this judge is having to weigh not only the evidence to support this disqualification, but also hes having to weigh the evidence. And, you know, to me, if im sitting on that bench as the judge, im saying, you know, you sent Text Messages when you werent under the Bright Lights that said very specifically when this relationship started. And then obviously when hes under oath now he cant seem to remember. I think this judge is not going to have a hard time determining the truth of what was going on when this relationship started trace doesnt seem like it, matt, but if this thing, you know, fani willis and fay than wade are not taken off this case, i mean, you talk about the two tiers of Justice Argument weve heard before, its going to be at a fevered pitch. Well, not only that, but remember, this is one of the many casess that are standing in the way of just the American People deciding whether or not donald trump should be president again. You know, he won michigan convincingly by 40 points today. Theres no doubt that he is, you know, a Freight Train heading down the tracks and, you know, the question is, are these cases, these legal cases, going to try to throw up these hurdles to prevent him from having a full campaign and thats not fair for the American People who should be able to decide this issue. Trace yeah, a lot of people have echoed that sentiment. Matt whitaker great to have you on the show as always thank you. We have brand new information about the death of georgia Nursing Student Lincoln Riley and what an illegal immigrant allegedly did in an effort to conceal his crime. Dana marie Nick On Reporting live tonight from athens georgia, dana marie good evening. Reporter good evening, trace. New details from those documents reveal gruesome details about what happened to Lincoln Reilly when she was running on that Densely Wooded Trail on ugas campus. Im going to warn you these are hard to hear. Now according to arrest records he dragged reillys body to a shrewded area using a weapon seriously disfiguring the 22yearolds scull. We learned from the coroner that reilly died from Blunt Force Trauma to her head but we dont yet know the murder weapon. Among other details prosecutors may have direct information that the suspect prevented the victim from calling police. Theres a chance that the phone line was still open during the commission of the crime, or, in fact, she got through to 911, maybe had a chance to ask for help. Now, its unclear in what order these events happen. The motive also unclear. Uga police say reilly and ibara did not know each other and called this a crime of opportunity. Athens police also reveg more information about the suspects past. They say he and his brother were stopped for shoplifting 200 worth of clothes and food back in october. They were cited but not arrested. And ibarra does remain in jail without bond and his next Court Appearance is not yet scheduled, trace. Trace Dana Marie Nick on live on the scene. Lets bring in university of Georgia Student marry dodos. Whats the feeling on campus like this day and yesterday. Whats it been like there . Its just been very somber. There have been many vigils held around campus, one most natably at tate plaza with many students gathering in the breeze way to celebrate lincolns life. Trace im just kind of you look at this thing. The university says, mary, that theyre going to spend millions more on security and Safety Measures. Do you think its going to ease the concerns of the students who are kind of wandering around that area and always thought it was going to be safe and was safe . Temporarily i think so with the increased Police Presence and various other Safety Measures but were all still wondering when is it going to happen next. How many other jose ibarras are there in this world waiting for an opportunity to strike on us when were doing an everyday mundane thing like walking. Its a temporary fix. Trace its interesting, i have a daughter at the University Of Alabama and im wondering what your parents and the parents of your fellow classmates are saying about this whole situation. My parents are just distraught. Theyve bought me alarms, my friends just showed up with pepper spray and tasers in a package today. Our parents are just shaken up and texting each other to make sure were all safe and staying together and i know many other parents feel the same way. Trace and your parents and then your friends, your colleagues, what are they saying around campus . Were all just very upset. And were thankful that ugas finally stepped in with the Safety Measures, but were all just disappointed that theys chose to react rather than prevent this crime and were just hoping for each others safety. Trace yeah. I can imagine. Lastly, and ill let you go mary, but is the University Giving you or your fellow students any guidance or safety advice . So theyre giving us Grief Counseling but many of these counselors and offices are booked up for months, which is very sad for people needing to go to them. And they have just given us very basic Safety Measures like buddy system and advising us to not walk alone. But overall, its just a very disappointing reaction. Trace yeah. Mary dodas thank you for coming on tonight. Best of luck to you and your fellow students. We appreciate your time. Thank you. Thank you, trace. Trace well, the fox news at night Common Sense Department doesnt need a reminder of the Main Stream Medias far left bias. But when 22 year old Laken Rye Riley went for a run and was murdered the associate press says it highlights the fears of solo female athletes. Its curious that the ap left out the part about the solo female athlete who happened upon a murdering illegal immigrant. Abc news also focused on the Safety Concerns of running alone. Common sense would suggest laken riley was fine running alone its when she wasnt alone than things went bad. Laken rilelys murder should not shape immigration policy. Its odd consider the current policy is to open the Gates House Feed and protect people we know nothing about. Seems like the policy could use a little reshaping. And the Atlantic At Journal Constitution called out republicans for linking rileys death to joe bidens immigration policies. Cnns jake tapper took it further saying republicans are seizing on rileys death to target President Biden. Maybe theyre targeting biden because these are bidens policies. These are bidens Illegal Immigrants though biden gave protected status. Common sense would ask, if not biden, who should we target . Oh, of course. Trump. Problem solved. Lets bring in Fox News Contributor joe concha and
