Columbia used to be a beautiful campus where everyone in the neighborhood was welcome. Now you cant get onto campus unless you have a student i. D. and there are basically several choke points. At these couple choke points, you have these terribly disgusting, disgraceful demonstrations that are actually forming Human Chains to prevent students from entering campus without having to put up a fight. They are throwing red paint, like you said. That is a picture i took earlier today. Like i said earlier, it is dreadful and its absolutely disgraceful in a place like columbia. I think that people are used to the idea of jews being killed. I think the holocaust, as horrible as it was, has desensitized people to a trauma that they may not have in their own family. The fact that anyone could see such a beautiful person like hersh or any of the other five hostages as deserving to die just for existing, i think it is a testament to the antisemitism in our society and also a testament to just the vitriol in our politics. John and we are seeing right now protests in Tel Aviv, as well, from people who have taken the streets for the last three days by the thousands, saying the time for a ceasefire is now in the wake of the six hostages being executed. When you Take A Look at how people are thinking about all of this, the University Of Maryland is getting Kudos Today for canceling an antiisrael protest that they said could initially go ahead on October 7th. And now they are saying thats probably not such a good idea. They are being praised for canceling it, but what about the idea that they were going to allow it in the first place . By the way, as more evidence is emerging from the autopsies done on the bodies of the six hostages, they are showing these people were shot, each of them, multiple times at close range, in rapid succession. Which speaks to an execution, meaning these people, these young people, spent the last moments of their life likely lined up together, watching their fellow hostages being murdered in Cold Blood, waiting their turn.
