Of the planned activities. Jose right now, according to spacex, it is dark. The sun is on the other side. And apparently they are flying over australia and antarctica. What is interesting and you told us this a little while ago while you cant really tell it, but that guy was standing outside a spacecraft that is traveling 17,000 miles around the earth. Thats correct. Thats correct. And its amazing. And like i said, its like if you are in an airplane, you know, you dont feel it because you have got the same momentum as the vehicle does. And since there is no air up there you dont feel the friction so there is no Pull Back Pop your head out as if he would do it in a are can a. So, yeah. I think up to this point a successful Eva Spacewalk. In a Moment Sarah will be up there. Lawrence can only one be out at a time. Or can they all be out or two and two . I think they are going to go out one at a time is the plan. This is a test system. Obviously, when you go out, and do activities on the outside, and you do work. The Nasa Rule is you go out in groups of two. Because you support each other in Case Something happens. But, these guys are just at close to the confines of the entrance. They are not wandering too far out. So one at a time is okay. Steve right. According to the information before things got started, they were going to go out for 15 to 20 minutes each. Mr. Isaacman, Jared Isaacman the commander went out for a much shorter period of time than that. Right now Sarah Gillis the Spacex Engineer will exit the capsule as well. Jonathan serrie is on earth as well watching all of this. So, jonathan, how does this work . The commander gets back into his seat and then sarah releases herself from her seat because they are at zero gravity right now. Yeah. Exactly. And so thats why they have to be very deliberate about it. They have to make sure that they are holding on to something attaching to something. To move themselves around. In fact, when we were watching them open the hatch, if we were on earth, with gravity, you know, your own weight, especially my weight as much as i eat, i could pull that hatch down. I wouldnt have to latch on anything. In zero g you would just pull yourself up to the hatch. It would be like a poor mans pullup. And so Jared Isaacman actually had to latch his feet on to something when he was pulling that hatch to open. Now, the one thing that is your friend in space, even though you are traveling at, you know, i havent done the math kilometers per hour but somewhere between 15,000 and 17,000 miles per hour. Because theres no air up there, when they stick their head out of the spacecraft, you dont have that Rushing Wind that you would experience if you were sticking your head out of an aircraft. Because of the laws of inertia, you are moving at the same speed as the spacecraft. So everything is great. You dont have this idea of how fast youre moving because you are still moving at the same speed spacecraft. Brian do you know how great it would be to be musk right thought. Some things going on. To get up in the morning to see your craft with four astronauts about to go on a spacewalk up at a level that we havent been up since the 1960s. And know how responsible he is right now. And also maybe nervous because all this stuff is unprecedented. Ainsley its new. Brian Brand New suits. Brand new engineering. Ainsley when he exits this and We Saw, you know, basically the top half of his body was out of this capsule, does he have to hold on and what about his feet . Are his feet tethered to something inside . Im sure his feet was probably on the edge rim of the exit portion, just to hold himself there. But, you know, he also had the Skywalker Device that he could hold on to. Ainsley does he have to hold on to that because he has that Umbilical Cord. He is not going to go anywhere. Ainsley maybe i have seen too many movies of him actually leaving the spacecraft and floating around in space. That wont happen, right . He will hold on . I dont believe Thats Part of the test protocol. I think the Umbilical Cord is rated to be Pulled N the event that he lets go of structure and floats out. Outside. Thats not part of the plan. Lawrence im curious. Obviously We Saw him looking at earth. I mean, it was breathtaking. But thats an expensive trip just to have that view. Whats the purpose of this mission . Is it just the first test run to, i guess, revolutionize how we look at Space And Study space . Well, yes. And more importantly. [cheers] he has got these new Eva Space suits that are very nice and seem to work and seem to have a lot more. Lawrence there it is again. Sarah, yes. Brian lets listen in. I mean, i said it before. A lot of us work here because we want to do this. Stepping in to test matrix one for singlehanded mobility. Really cool to see one of our own out there. Thats awesome. Ev 2 watching from the nose cone. All three im having certainly movements forward back fit over all. Left, right. Up down a bit of a kick. All of them are achievable. Rate it a 3. A 3. A 4. And kick is a 3. Steve well, you are looking at Sarah Gillis a Spacex Engineer Making History just moments ago, Jared Isaacman, a Billionaire Entrepreneur took the first steps outside of the polaris dawn. You are watching the first ever commercial spacewalk. And its gonna there are four people on that craft. Only two are stepping outside. And she is currently doing some Mobility Tests of the suit. Its all about the suit lets wring Jonathan Serrie for a moment. Jonathan, as we watch her do the Mobility Test and they are testing the suit essentially who is driving the spacecraft . Is it the people down on earth at Mission Control at spacex or is somebody behind the wheel up there . Yeah. The Spacex Crew Dragon is fully automated so it is controlled by those Mission Controllers and their computers down on earth. Now, when they are in orbit. There is really not a lot of piloting involved. Its pretty the spacecraft is pretty stable and enemies you need to get out of orbit or change the orbit. Youre not going to see them firing thrusters. Yes, occasionally there will be some minor adjustments but that spacecraft is coasting and without any air, theres no wind resistance. So its not like you take your gas off the pedal of your Car Or Ease back on the throttle of your plane and you start slowing down. You will keep going on theoretically indefinitely until some external force works on that spacecraft. So not a lot of piloting involved, but what piloting is done its all controlled by the ground. Brian yeah. Looks like she went back in for a second. We lost some transmission. When she was going back down. I think they are probably doing Mobility Exercises and tests on the space suit. Kind of Lost Transmission so did the Spacex Site lose transmission. Steve we can tell by that graphic that they are somewhere over the Southern Pacific screen on the right side of the screen can you see australia and below that antarctica. Ainsley we want her to be able to see the images of the earth like jared did. Steve i think thats a tape. Ainsley thats not live . All right. That was jared. Jared was able to see the earth. When sarah popped her head up, everything was dark. I know its traveling so fast. Will the capsule get around to a place where she will be able to see the earth . Jared went into the darkness. If the eva was to last more than 45 minutes, the answer would be yes. Undoubtedly, i dont think this is going to last more than 45 minutes, she will stay in the Dark And Wont get to see a view such as jared saw. She is going to see all darkness. But the lights of the city, if she goes over ground. Brian is there some of that Night Vision Technology in those helmets allow them to see something . Well, no. I dont think they have that. They have Heads Up Display where they see things such as Temperature And Pressure of the suits. There is really no need for them to see at least for the astronauts. Brian i guess there is nothing to see. This is on tape by The Way. We are 52 minutes into this. Not 41. Steve jose, question for you. Initially they were going to each Go Outside for 15 or 20 minutes each. They have only both of them have only been outside for about 1 minutes any suggestion why they might be doing this so quick . 12 minutes each is what they were scheduled for. I think they were once you get all the mobility, all the tests done. Steve show is over. Jared makes the call. He could stay there and enjoy the view for another four or five minutes. You err on the side of safety. You get all your objectives in and continue with the experiment. Ainsley jose, one more question. They both have been stretching their left arms back and forth. Is that because you said the suits can be very tight . Sometimes they can be painful . Yes. Yes. They are doing these Mobility Tests like this and grappling and everything, just to make sure its they could describe how hard or easy it was to move around. Steve thank you very much for joining us, jose and telling us what was happening. Ainsley thank you both. Steve if you are just joining us, we have been watching the first ever commercial spacewalk. History. We saw two astronauts go out and test their suits for mobility. It was really, really cool. Ainsley it was. Lawrence especially seeing the earth like that. Brian good transmission. Meanwhile we have good transmission across the studio. We have other breaking news. Its very serious stuff, that the governor of colorado denied. Police in aurora, colorado, arresting 10 members of the gang. Tren De Aragua in connection with Apartment Building takeovers we all saw on video. The arrest comes as the venezuelan Street Gang expand deadly reach into the u. S. Chanley, you have more. Thats right. Good morning from across the room. Police and local officials in aurora announcing the arrest of these 10 Men Accused Of Quote Committing Acts of violence against members of the migrant community. All 10 arrested documented members of Tren De Aragua a transnational Prison Gang based in venezuela. Child abuse, attempted first degree murder. Illegal discharge of a firearm and more. Now aurora has been in the spotlight recently after Surveillance Video from an Apartment Building being overtaken by armed men went viral online. The joint statement from aurora officials also addressing what they say are misleading Social Media claims saying this as for the perception in reality of Public Safety in aurora, please understand that issues experienced at a first select properties do not aflight city as a whole or large portions of it. Tda has not taken over the city. The democratic governor of the Sanctuary State had it to say to fox news quote. Guys . Brian too bad the governor was in denial about this. Too bad he set up thanks so much, chanley. Too bad he set up a Sanctuary State. Ainsley yep, in 2019. Brian congratulations. This is what you got. You could deny it all you want. It is an absolute mess. The people of aurora are the victims. Lawrence also, can they do some work . Not like we didnt have the video on camera to identify who those people were in the apartment complex. You dont think that the Atf Force should have had some type you have people just strolling around. The guy that was in that apartment clearly states that he didnt give them the right to come in. He felt in fear for his life. So, Yall Havent arrested these guys yet . Ainsley the town is small. 58,000 people. Not even 60,000. And 20,000 Haitian Migrants have moved into their towns. Lawrence the argument that they are making is they are coming in for the jobs and all that. Steve right. Lawrence the problem is they are taking the market from the american citizens. And i remember back when i was there for the migration that, crisis happened all the Haitian Migrants that were there. This is a part of that guys. I remember when, you know, the whole whipping gate. Remember that, guy was stealing from one of the ladies. Thats why the Border Patrol Guy got involved right there they have started gangs adloos river and everything. We are talking about a dangerous situation. Steve heres the background. In 2020, the federal government granted people from haiti temporary protected status. They could leave haiti. They could go anywhere in the united states. Well, as it turns out, a lot of people wound up going to ohio. They heard that the housing was cheap and ther were lots of job, which is true. Springfield, ohio, is a city with the big hart. But this influx of people, like 15,000 over the last couple of years, has completely taxed and overwhelmed all the city services. For instance there is not enough room in the classrooms for the kids. They dont have enough translators. The hospitals are overworked. And also, this is one of the reasons why Law Enforcement has been sent there, the State Patrol is going to be going to springfield in particular. Because a lot of people from haiti dont have american Drivers Licenses and they dont understand our laws. And not long ago there was a deadly School Bus Crash where dozens of kids were hurt. And one 11yearold died. And the driver didnt have a u. S. Drivers license. From haiti. Lawrence this is what the governor of ohio is saying. Governor mike dewine. The federal government needs to assist these communities with real dollars. These dramatic surges impact every citizen in the community, every citizen. The moms who have to wait hours in a Waiting Room with a sick child, everyone who drives on the streets. And it effects children who go to school in more crowded classroom. The federal government does not have a plan to give any support to the communities impacted by this surge. And we have absolutely no indication that a plan is coming in the future. Brian the republican governor speaking about the temporary protected status. He says im not against that. But 15,000 haitians there are using now services that were put aside for Law Enforcement. Lawrence yes. Brian in order to get them and help them this was a debate in 2016 the wall. Lawrence 100 percent. Brian dont worry about the wall. Nobody goes to the border. Build the wall. You didnt build a wall. You didnt back Law Enforcement. You didnt provide the resources there. You werent interested. You have the Sanctuary And City and Sanctuary State bragged about having a big heart. Now america is flooded with at least 8. 5 million illegals, let alone the gotaways. Some here just to create hell called the worst gang in venezuela, exactly what the former president said. They are emptying their prisons, exactly what he said. And venezuela says just get out. I dont care where you go. They are making their way here. They are making The Way for other gangsters and now cities big and small are all victims. This is the point to make on the stage last night. Lawrence ainsley, when you look at the dials. We all had our Analysis Yesterday about the debate. When you look at the dials for independent voters, when they saw the immigration issue discussed. It shoots up not only with republicans, but independents as well. So we want to cherry pick different moments, but when it came down to the issues, it looked like it had an impact on the voters. Ainsley whats interesting about this election that i dont ever remember seeing in my lifetime, we have two candidates who have been in the white house. Lawrence yes. Ainsley kamala for the last four years as vice president. Donald trump four years before that as president. So we know where they both stand. And thats why that first question in the debate was so important. Are you better off . Were you better off under him or under her . And i heard people say this is an issues election. Lawrence thats right. Ainsley might not like the personality of her flipflopping. Might not like his personality. How do they vote . What is their record . Are you better off . Steve to that point there is an item they just posted on the New York Times website that talked a little bit about the Debate Couple nights ago. And so what the Harris Camp is encouraged by is the fact that they she was able to make the debate all about Donald Trump. And that was something that Joe Biden could not do during his year running for president. He could not do it she did it in a more effective way, essentially. The reason its important is that debate came two days ago. Yesterday, alabama sent out the first absentee ballots. It was going to be North Carolina. But r. F. K. Challenged it. They got to reprint everything. So alabama sent out the absentee ballots. People in alabama now will be able to start voting. Brian here is what the undecided voters are saying. Very interesting. Pundits and experts. Watch. I think its important to remember that we are voting for the leader of our country and not who we like the most or who we want in our wedding party. But, who is actually going to make our country better. We are incredibly unique situation where we had candidates in office before and we got to see what they w
