The fbi is investigating a sewer state officials and board and a house task force gathering information about the assassination attempts there are calls to change the way we talk about politics and to lower the temperature to finally realize that your rational people respond to irrational comments in irrational ways but those calls are ignored at least by some. Trey: i want to turn it down a little bit on the secret service, what do you want to know from the secret service and the shooting in pennsylvania that you currently do not know what is number one and two on your list of things that the senate is entitled to but the secret service isn't giving you? we want complete transparency and a timely report but i know enough now to realize that the secret service is broken that is a very dysfunctional organization, we already know they had a bad plan, the implemented a worse communication was nonexistent, we know there's been almost a 50% turnover in the secret service employees recently as well that barely happened with senior leadership, that's why since day one i called for the white house to appoint a crisis management team to go in there and turn this place upside down i think of john ratcliffe, somebody like that going in there, cleaning house and starting over we know enough already and yes we need all the details and i would like to know the psychological condition of this assailant and what exactly his motives in if there is anybody else involved but we don't need to wait on that report, let's take action now. I don't think the secret service can serve the dhs as well as her primary mission. I really think we should think about turning this over to the lmb the white house office of management and budget, they would be right there at the white house with her primary focus, too often we let our goals and her primary focus expand too much and i think that is a challenge here. Secret service is trying to serve too many masters and i think it's time you, my dad both same time i got a career police officer had the same idea yesterday saying is it time after 23 years is there a better home for the secret service? trey: i know you did not practice psychiatry but your medical doctor nonetheless which means you're smarter than i am, is there something that we should be doing for the mentally ill other than just waiting for them to commit a crime and putting them in jail. It seems to be an act but democrat people like ruth and others who need help and we should not wait until after they try to kill somebody to provide that. We are seeing an epidemic of mental health challenges across the country. I want to emphasize that most people with a mental health problem are not violent but many people that are violent have mental health problems they typically have an antisocial personality disorder, they have a disregard for bond order, they have no remorse after the break the crime those types of things, we need to identify those people and get them into our community health centers for more mental health benefits.
