Free compost available from City of Regina pilot waste project

To mark Compost Awareness Week, from May 2 to 8, the City of Regina is offering free compost to Regina residents, while supplies last.
In March, the city reached a milestone with its first “pile flip” at the food and yard waste pilot processing site, according to a city news release issued Friday. The pile flip is part of how waste is moved through the composting process.

The organic material was collected from the Yard Waste Depot and Food and Yard Waste Pilot and reduced to compost.
