Free solar eclipse educational seminar at Jervis Library in Rome on March 19

The first in the three-part seminar series will take place at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19 at the library on North Washington Street. Mohawk Valley Community College Professor Melissa Barlett, professor of STEM Transfer, will host the first seminar to discuss stars, planets, moons, orbits and gravity, to better understand how and why solar eclipses happen and why they are so rare.
