Voters in Saginaw, Bay and Midland counties within the district’s boundaries will decide whether to approve the millage, which would levy roughly $890,000 in 2021. Superintendent Matt Cairy described the fund as a “pay-as-you-go” way for the district to meet the maintenance needs of its buildings and facilities. The district would target roofs, parking lots, HVAC systems and other renovations with the funds, he said.
