Created: December 29, 2020 09:49 PM ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Kellie Souza has been on the front lines of the pandemic in UNM Hospital’s COVID ward for a few months. In late November, KOB 4 spoke with Souza about her experience. "I've seen more than you could possibly imagine, you know, people die in so many different ways," Souza said. "But I've never had to do the things that I've had to do here. I've never had to watch someone suffocate by themselves with no family around." Like so many others, COVID has gotten in the way of a lot of plans this year—and Souza is no exception.
