Fuel ration to change in 2021 for US personnel in Netherlands BRUNSSUM, Netherlands – Effective Jan. 1, 2021, the amount of rationed fuel available each month will no longer be a function of the number of vehicles registered with JFC Brunssum, the type of fuel used, or the size of the engine. Instead, the fuel ration for all eligible U.S. personnel stationed in the Netherlands will be capped at 400 liters per sponsor per month. This fuel ration change was originally announced by the Dutch government in August 2017, amended in March of 2018, and has already been unsuccessfully appealed at the highest level by the U.S. Government.
