The South Canterbury Drama League’s youngest director is rehearsing
Carol and the Belles, which opens on Friday for an eight performance season.
Abigail Austin, 21, started at the league as a choreographer about four years ago and has worked her way up.
“I learnt from the best. I learnt from Alice Sollis and worked alongside her,” Austin said.
The former Timaru Girls’ High School student works as a speech and drama teacher and has her own singing studio.
