Many Management Companies struggle to put in place fund distributors’ oversight processes that are both compliant with new regulations and operationally efficient. From a regulatory perspective, overseeing distributors is strongly framed by the delegation oversight regulations. This article provides a summary of the oversight regulatory basis as well as some guidance to build an appropriate distribution oversight framework.
