Thank you and good evening to you. Well, within the last hour, the us President Joe Biden has condemned the attacks by hamas on israel, vowing that the americans have israels back. Joe biden was speaking a short time ago at the white house. Well, the Hamas Terrorist Group fired missiles warning residents in the israeli city of ashkelon today to leave by 5 00 local time. Israels iron dome time. Israels iron dome anti Missile System was used to intercept many of the rockets. Intercept many of the rockets. Israel Defence Forces claim more than 4500 rockets were launched by hamas since saturday. The Israeli Embassy to the us says more than 1000 of its citizens have been killed in the violence i this attack is brought to the surface. Painful memories and the scars left by a millennia of anti semitism and genocide of the jewish people. So in this the jewish people. So in this moment , we the jewish people. So in this moment, we must be the jewish people. So in this moment , we must be Crystal Clear moment, we must be Crystal Clear where we stand with israel. We stand with israel. And we will stand with israel. And we will make sure israel has what it needs to take care of its citizens, defend itself and respond to this attack. Respond to this attack. Joe biden speaking a short time ago. Well, the attacks time ago. Well, the attacks today came in response to an unprecedented barrage of israeli airstrikes on gaza , forcing airstrikes on gaza, forcing nearly 200,000 people to flee their homes. Israel is continuing to bomb the enclave. These pictures, if youre watching on television, are from a port on the gaza coastline. Smoke billowing from flames as vehicles and buildings were set alight on the shoreline. We know , too, that apartment blocks schools and a United Nations building were among those hit by hundreds of attacks. The un has warned israel its siege of gaza is illegal under international law, but also said the abduction of hostages by hamas is forbidden in here at home. The Prime Minister, rishi sunak, says the uk will continue to support british israeli families i we stand in solidarity with israel and the people of israel in the face of these barbaric acts of terrorism and last night i went to visit a synagogue in london to express my support for the Jewish Community in the uk. I was unequivocal with them that we will make sure that they feel safe at this time. And the police have been given very clear guidance and advice from the government to do everything that they can to keep the community safe. They will clamp down on any behaviour that falls foul law. Just remind foul of the law. Just remind everyone hamas everyone that hamas is a proscribed terrorist proscribed a terrorist organisation. Organisation. Well, in other news today , well, in other news today, the labour leader, sir keir starmer, has promised a decade of National Renewal if his party is re elected at the next general election. Her this is to kidnap and kill. Her this is gb news across the uk on tv, in your car, on Digital Radio and on your Smart Speaker by saying play on your Smart Speaker by saying play gb news. This is britains news channel. News channel. Anti semitism is an ancient hatred which people now try to hide. And tragically, when hide. And tragically, when events unfold in israel, anti semitism rises in britain, there is a clear and well established correlation. This anti semitism presents itself under the cover of palestine. Solidarity. Nowadays palestine. Solidarity. Nowadays now, theres nothing wrong with supporting palestinians or indeed with criticising the israeli government. Many on both sides have suffered greatly in this conflict. But as the editor of the jewish chronicle, jake wallace simons, pointed out yesterday , there is something yesterday, there is something highly suspect about people who watch the horrific scenes of young people being murdered at a festival or read about elderly Holocaust Survivors being dragged into gaza to be held as hostages. His instinct is to go hostages. His instinct is to go straight to the Israeli Embassy holding flares and smoke grenades wearing balaclavas and protesting against israel. Israel is a functioning democratic state, subject to the rule of law with free elections, if you look at the events of the recent days and think israel is the problem , then you ought to the problem, then you ought to question your own instincts. You are probably part of the problem. Now, im not trying to be an advocate of israeli Prime Minister benjamin netanyahu, but recent events have indicated the words he wants uttered. If hamas put down their weapons today, there would be no more violence. If the jews put down their weapons today , there would be no weapons today, there would be no more israel. But over the more israel. But over the weekend, when the israelis seemingly dropped guard, seemingly dropped their guard, we an insight into what we had an insight into what would happen if the israelis did drop weapons as if they drop their weapons as if they did do what the supposed protesters on the streets of london them to do the london want them to do to the state of israel, a democratic, law state would cease law abiding state would cease to exist. Best law abiding state would cease to exist. Best supporting organisations that are proscribed as terrorist is a crime in the united kingdom. Speaker at a rally in brighton on sunday, said hamas terror was inspiring and beautiful. Has this been arrested . This speaker been arrested . A Student Palestine Society wrote on social media. The Palestinian People have the right to resist occupation by any means necessary. Have the Police Investigate . Noted. Indeed. Investigate . Noted. Indeed. Nigel pointed out on his program someone at one of the rallies was raising an index finger for a known isis solidarity gesture. These are just a few examples , these are just a few examples, but these people actually committing a crime, but they use their purported care about the palestinians to cover their fear and hatred of the jewish people. They did care about the palestinians. They would condemn hamas, but they do not, because hamas, but they do not, because hamas is a bad a wicked and evil organisation open not just to israel , but it throws its israel, but it throws its political opponents off rooftops andits political opponents off rooftops and its supported by iran, a country that has no civil rights at all. If hamas were to have its way, you would find israel turned into something resembling iran. That is its model that is its paymaster, that it is its senior partner. Its paymaster, that it is its senior partner. So an ancient senior partner. So an ancient hatred is back in britain and it has taken refuge in a cause that purports to be a liberation movement. But whatever shape anti semitism takes, it remains the same brutal, evil ideology that it always has been. It cannot hide it by pretending to be pro palestinian. As always , i be pro palestinian. As always, i want to hear from you. I want to know your thoughts. Male margaret gbnews. Com well, im now joined by the israeli journalist emily schrader. Now joined by the israeli journalist emily schrader. Thank journalist emily schrader. Thank you, emily, for joining journalist emily schrader. Thank you, emily, forjoining me. Im very grateful. What is going on at the moment . What has been happening today . Can you bring us up to date . So it has been a few days of chaos, as you can imagine. After the worst series of attacks that we have ever had. I think the most recent numbers had the death toll at about 1200, as well as thousands more injured. And about 150 being held hostage by the terrorist organisation hamas. And today we did see that hamas. And today we did see that activity continue. We saw a heavy rocket fire on the south with multiple hits. There was with multiple hits. There was even a direct hit which ironically landed on a mosque in near jerusalem. Um, they have near jerusalem. Um, they have now fired rockets at jerusalem, tel aviv and all throughout southern israel and weve also faced some rocket fire from the north, although not quite as much as were facing from hamas. And in gaza today alone, we had about three barrages in a row here in tel aviv where where i am, in fact, in one of them, i was actually in an interview and had to run to the bomb shelter. So hopefully that doesnt happen here with us tonight. Well, no, its been obviously very, very difficult indeed. I hope not. Is the fence now with gaza secured so that terrorists cant continue to get through . And are all the terrorists on the ground who were on the ground in israel . Have they been stopped out . So the last report that we received was that the communities where Hamas Terrorists were still sort of hiding out or in some cases actually exchanging fire with the idf that they have cleared out those communities. Out those communities. We cant say for sure that no one went elsewhere because we didnt know exactly how many people crossed over in the first place. But the idf has cleared out all of the communities in the south. That being said , the south. That being said, there is still heavy rocket fire coming in. In addition to that. And israel is conducting airstrikes throughout gaza at terror sites. Terror sites. Yes. So israel is now beginning the fight back. What beginning the fight back. What is the plan for that . As you understand and it how will israel approach rooting out the terrorists from gaza . Well, terrorists from gaza . Well, Prime Minister netanyahu has been very clear that this operation in, in his words, isnt going to be like other operations against hamas. I think we can expect to see a much more forceful response. Thats aimed at deterring the ability of hamas to function , ability of hamas to function, hopefully in any way whatsoever. However, personally, im of the opinion that the time has come for israel to completely root out this organisation , that root out this organisation, that the danger that were facing now is that it also has 60 to 70, 80 million annually coming from the Islamic Republic of iran. And this puts us in a much more difficult position because they are also doing the same thing with Islamic Jihad in gaza and with Islamic Jihad in gaza and with on israels with hezbollah on israels northern border. Israel northern border. So israel really does to take action really does need to take action now to destroy this terrorist organisation good. Well organisation for good. Well thank you for joining organisation for good. Well thank you forjoining me, emily. Thank you for joining me, emily. Have stop the funding we have to stop the funding getting from iran. And getting through from iran. And i hope that you manage to remain safe. But i much appreciate safe. But i very much appreciate your with me your time this evening. With me now panel of gb news now is my panel of gb news senior political commentator nigel alleged nigel nelson and the alleged criminal barrister, hayes i oh, the writ is in the post. Oh, the writ is in the post. Nigel, what ought israel to do now . How should the response be calibrated to make sure that this cannot happen again . Well , i mean, theyve got to well, i mean, theyve got to try and destroy hamas. I mean, it is as simple as that. And do it is as simple as that. And do it without, without , without it without, without, without hurting too many civilians. I hurting too many civilians. I mean, obviously, if they they go in with Ground Forces into into gaza , which is obviously what is gaza, which is obviously what is being intended. And it is going being intended. And it is going to be very tricky to for the civilian population. Its such a crowded place. 2 Million People crowded place. 2 Million People and 140mi2. It would be really difficult. But hamas have 30,000 fighters unless the israelis can actually get rid of them. This actually get rid of them. This problem will keep occurring. And the other big danger, obviously , is to try and keep iran out of it. And jerry , iran, its too and jerry, iran, its too late. Late. The fact is iran is behind this. The reason the iran is behind this is there was a real possibility of peace in the middle east, a real possibility and a real possibility of actually improving the lives of palestinian ins in the gaza strip and elsewhere. And thats why there was this strike. There are peace deals with bahrain. Theres a peace deal. We know theres a peace deal. We know with egypt, theres a peace deal with egypt, theres a peace deal with all sorts of other people. But the biggest peace deal of all was with saudi arabia. Now, all was with saudi arabia. Now, this is what this is all about. They want to destroy that. I, i agree with nigels sentiments. But how do you destroy hamas . The best thing you can do is to neutralise it. The biggest, biggest mistake that israel can make is fall into the trap. And the trap is basically going over the trap is basically going over the top. Difficult because because netanyahu, you know, hes going to be accused of being asleep at the wheel. Being asleep at the wheel. But havent we as the west, been asleep at the wheel that just a couple of weeks ago, the us announced how many billion it was going to iran . We did a deal was going to iran . We did a deal that allowed to money be freed up to go to iran. This money then goes to fund terrorism. Why then goes to fund terrorism. Why have we been weak towards iran over the last 2 or 3 years . We shouldnt be. We shouldnt be. Well, nuclear weapons. I mean, the whole thing is were still trying to get the iran deal back on the table to try and stop them getting the bomb. I mean, i think that forget about why trying to deal about why are we trying to deal with iran. Completely theyre completely untrustworthy. This was cloud cuckoo obama cuckoo land of the Obama Administration that a administration that was a complete bungle. You achieve if you but if you can achieve if you could achieve that with iran, that would make israel an awful lot the problem about lot safer. The problem about israel, it is like being on a Housing Estate where all your neighbours want to throw bricks through your window. So everywhere israel looks, theyve got an enemy. But the worst enemy of the lot is iran. And the one thing if you talk to senior israeli politicians , the senior israeli politicians, the thing that they are most concerned about about is that iran could get the bomb and the first place theyll use it is on israel. Okay. Well thank you to my panel dont forget to let me know your thoughts. Mailmogg gbnews. Uk hmm. Shortly well be hearing from one of the survivors of the horrific festival massacre. Radio. Welcome back. Im still Jacob Rees Mogg , and this is still the rees mogg, and this is still the state of the nation youve been getting in touch with your thoughts. Steve says terrifying celebrations on our streets. Celebrations on our streets. Anti semitism is never acceptable. Bill and colin, some acceptable. Bill and colin, some of the support and marches are political opportunism and not representative of many palestinian views. Well all the terrorist group hamas led the evil assault against israel in the early hours of saturday morning. The attack started with morning. The attack started with a barrage of 3000 missiles sent into israel. Hamas then broke through the gaza israel barrier , making their way into nearby israeli communities. The supernova festival was one of the first places hit by this surprise attack. Some of the surprise attack. Some of the extremists flew into the festival from paragliders and many opened gunfire into the crowds from vans. The attack on crowds from vans. The attack on the festival was a massacre for at least 3500 people were in attendance. S 260 of whom were killed, and an unknown number of civilians are still missing or have been taken hostage. The have been taken hostage. The terrorist group has killed almost 2000 people since the assault began on saturday. Joining me now is gal bookspan. One of the survivors of the festival massacre. Gal, can you just tell me what happened . What was you were just at a festival. You were having an enjoyable time. It was all very peaceful. Time
