By Melany Slaughter on May 5, 2021 The Gloucester Planning Commission will hold two public hearings tonight on two requested conditional use permits for utility-scale solar energy facilities. They will also have a hearing tonight about a proposed change to the subdivision ordinance which will clarify the definition of “Boundary Line Adjustment.” The meeting will take place in-person tonight at the T.C. Walker Educational Center at 7 o’clock. The applicant, Impact Power Solutions, LLC, has submitted two CUP applications seeking to establish a utility-scale solar energy facility at the intersection of Maryus Road (SR 640) and Ditch Bank Road (SR 1104) and a large-scale solar facility on Ditch Bank Road.
