Google Will Automatically Enable Two-Factor Authentication for Everyone May 6, 2021 16:00 EDT Google has announced that it is going to enroll people into two-factor authentication automatically. This is being done to protect accounts, and the announcement has arrived as Google actually recognizes World Password Day. Google took to a blog post and stated that all the "appropriately configured" accounts will be enrolled soon. However, it did not specify when this change is going to take place. Once the two-factor authentication is in place, logging into your Google account from any device will send a prompt to the smartphone linked to the account, and then you will have to confirm if it is you who just tried to sign in.
