Govt appoints three national professors Star Digital Report Star Digital Report The government has appointed Professor Alamgir Mohammad Sirajuddin, Prof AK Azad and Prof Mahmud Hasan as national professors. These eminent professors were made national professors today for the next five years, Secondary and Higher Education Division Additional Secretary AKM Aftab Hossain Pramanik said. They were appointed with the approval of President Md Abdul Hamid, said a Secondary and Higher Education Division gazette notification. The eminent educationists will perform the duties of national professors and get honorarium and other benefits as per the Bangladesh National Professor Resolution (appointment, conditions and facilities) 1981, it said.
