Govt to hold drone show, fireworks on golden jubilee of independence

DHAKA, Feb 10, 2021 (BSS) – The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs today approved a proposal in principle for following the Direct Procurement Method (DPM) for holding drone show, aerial show and fireworks show to celebrate the golden jubilee of country’s independence in a befitting manner on March 26 this year.
The approval came from the 5th meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs of this year held virtually with Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal in the chair.
Briefing reporters after the meeting virtually, Kamal said that the government wants to observe the golden jubilee of country’s independence in a colorful and befitting manner and with festivity in association with the country’s people.
