CHESHIRE Police have described a sheep attack which killed 30 animals at Christmas as "atrocious" and "abhorrent". The Cheshire Police Rural Crime Team posted details of the incident, which happened sometime between Christmas Eve and lunchtime on Christmas Day off John Street, Utkinton near Chester, on their social media pages. Officers suspect, given the wounds sustained, the attack was a sheep worrying incident caused by out of control dogs. The image of the sheep attack posted by the Cheshire Police Rural Crime Team. Police said: "Only limited actual bloody attack wounds are present, indicating a dog/s have chased and worried the majority of the sheep to stressed and panicked exhaustion.
