What They Say: Andre Payne is just trying to get through life. That’s not easy when you’re the son of the god Zeus … or when the Scorpion Queen decides when she wants you dead and your power for herself. Things just aren’t easy when you’re a Demi-God. Content (please note that portions of review may contain spoilers) : Ever since Andre learned of his powers as the demigod Hercules, he has tried to justify his life by cleaning up the streets of Compton, destroying the poison and gangs which were the cause of his brother Calvin’s death, and this night is no exception, beginning with the demolition of a drug house and its dealers with extreme prejudice. With no remorse for not giving mercy to the scum who infest his neighborhood, Payne easily smashes through a supposedly secure hideout, none of their deadly guns causing any harm to his muscular frame but lightning tinged fists effortlessly crushing any who dare to stand against him, only stopping once the filth has been cleansed in fire and bodies left as bloody piles. However as the valiant man finally returns home to Karina and her daughter Maria, he finds the woman he loves studying poetry aloud to put her girl to sleep, politely rejecting a chance to peruse the calming words for himself, but not turning down an opportunity to greet an excitable child to who greets him as Daddy Andre before finally retreating to her room for the night. But once the adorable youngster is out of earshot, it is only then does his concerned girlfriend finally confront him with the real danger he may never come home after his nocturnal excursions, but as Payne confidently tries to assure her this will never happen, Karina turns on the television to show the results of his dangerous exploits, further filling her with fear and rage, resulting in the bold man being told to sleep on the sofa tonight.
