This side is Notun Bharat. New India. That side is old India, Purbo Bharat. New India is basically the Bangladesh enclave that was integrated into mainland India on August 15, 2015. It was a decision that PM Narendra Modi signed but former PM Manmohan Singh initiated. Sheikh Hasina was the Bangladesh Prime Minister during both these Indian governments.
