Gutsy away win for Feilding High School over Wesley College

Wesley took the lead in the first half when they booted through a loose ball about 50 metres and eventually scored. They took an 8-0 lead into halftime.
Feilding put in a lot of defensive work in the first half and had a couple of scoring opportunities, but didn’t finish off.
In the second spell Feilding spent a lot of time in Wesley’s half and with six minutes to go, were finally rewarded when hooker Vernon Bason drove over to score the winning try.
“We got stuck in during the second half, we just couldn’t get our attack going,” Lock said.
