Half a million people failed to reply to Covid texts Over half a million people have so far failed to reply to the texts sent out to book their Covid jab since vaccinations began five months ago. Almost 27% of the two million SMS texts sent went unanswered. Last week, a third of the expected people failed to show up at the eight vaccination centres in Lisbon. Of those who did answer, most people (71%) said yes, and a tiny portion (around 2%) responded with no, according to the latest figures from the task force managing the vaccination plan.
