Hashish smuggling bid foiled July 14, 2021 DERA ISMAIL KHAN: The police on Tuesday claimed to have seized 868 kilograms of hashish from and arrested two alleged smugglers, sources said. The hashish was being smuggled from the Zhob town of Balochistan into Dera Ismail Khan, said the police sources. The police had been tipped off that a truck with registration no AE 0272 was carrying a huge quantity of hashish under the cover of transportation of sacrificial animals. A police team led by Deputy Superintendent Police (DSP) Hafiz Muhammad Adnan and station house officer (SHO) of Daraban, Muhammad Yaseen Khan and in charge of Dararban police check-post Ikram Khan intercepted the truck.
