The 71st Miss World pageant made a grand return to India after a hiatus of 28 years, captivating audiences at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai on Saturday, 9th March. The prestigious event featured 112 contestants from around the globe, each vying for the coveted crown.<br /><br />Ahead of the pageant, former Miss World Manushi Chhillar, who won the title in 2017, shared her experiences and insights with the media. Reflecting on her own journey, she expressed, "Miss World was a very different experience. I pretty much would say that one night changed my entire life. It was such an important night in my life. I've started a different journey with this, and different avenues have opened in my life. I got noticed by the film industry." Manushi also graced the event as a member of the esteemed jury panel, adding her expertise to the selection process.<br /><br />The highlight of the evening was the crowning of the winner, Krystyna Pyszkova of the Czech Republic, who emerged victorious among the talented and diverse contestants. Krystyna's win marked a milestone moment in her life as she clinched the prestigious title and began her journey as the new Miss World, following in the footsteps of remarkable women who have held the title before her. India's Sini Shetty made it to the Top 8, making the country proud with her incredible performance. <br />
