Share this article Hauser & Wirth Celebrates Its First Five Years in the City of Angels With a new exhibition and a second museum space opening next year. Hauser & Wirth Los Angeles is celebrating its five year anniversary by exhibiting a new show entitled, “In Focus: LA Artists.” The artwork on display showcases a pool of world renowned figures who contributed to the international capital of culture, we now associate to the City of Angels. Highlights include the intergenerational mentor-mentee relationships between artists such as Paul McCarthy and Richard Jackson, who taught Jason Rhoades at UCLA. Along with one of CalArts’ greatest educators in Charles Gaines — whose 30 year career taught the likes of Henry Taylor and Mark Bradford, to name a few.
