The Kota Tinggi Waterfall Resort has two waterfalls in its vicinity. — Wikimedia Commons Kota Tinggi Waterfall Resort is located within the Gunung Panti Recreational Forest in Johor. It is a popular attraction among locals, although occasionally you do see some Singaporean tourists visiting the place on long weekends. Of course, this was before the pandemic. There are actually two waterfalls here. The bigger one stands at 36m and is located further in the forest; the smaller waterfall is just near the park entrance. Both falls can be easily accessed via a walkway. You can swim or wade in both pools as they are not too deep, but plunging into it from a higher platform is not advisable as you could injure yourself. The currents can also get too strong during rainy seasons, so be wary of that.
