A holiday park chain has announced it is looking forward to welcoming families for coastal breaks when government restrictions allow its sites to reopen on April 12. Haven, whose Lakeland Leisure Park site is situated near Grange, says the company is ‘delighted’ Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s ‘roadmap’ out of lockdown allows self-contained holiday accommodation to reopen. A spokesman for the company said: “We appreciate there will be disappointed guests who were booked to stay with us during March and in early April, but we will continue to follow the guidance laid out by the Government, as we have throughout the pandemic, to ensure the health and wellbeing of the nation and the safety and security of our guests, owners and teams are our number one priority.”
