The new year means the temporary relocation and plenty of construction at the Mount Clemens Public Library. Library Director Brandon Bowman said to begin the year, staff are cleaning the library in preparation for construction, which should commence in early spring. In August, nearly 61% of Mount Clemens voters approved a new bond proposal for the Mount Clemens Public Library. Since it passed, library officials have been refining building drawings and working with a consultant to map out spaces that will meet the needs of the public. The project architect is Seth Penchansky of Daniels and Zermack Architects in Ann Arbor.
