He doesn't think much of columnist's effort Ron Brantsner Referencing Karen Cyson's [opinion column, 2/21/21] in response to Pastor Campbell's opinion piece "I will not Surrender" I understand that dueling opinions and the bantering of ideas can be healthy and invigorating, but Karen Cyson does not banter, she gets personal. Passive aggressive would be more accurate. Karen Cyson, a Stearns County child care provider, adolescently mocks Pastor Campbell's Christian values for protecting and NOT surrendering the life of the unborn. Not surrendering to elective transgender surgeries and not surrendering to the removal of "under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance. If her arrogance and incoherent writings weren't enough, she directs vitriol at Trump supporters. Slick with the pen, she equates the inception of 1954 "under God " in the Pledge of Allegiance with the McCarthy era, as though God and McCarthyism were a secret society, while correlating Pastor Campbell to Communism when he is trying to save lives, not ruin them. She then quotes that "McCarthy always played fast and loose with the truth." Do I hear projection?
