'The Simpsons' writer Marc Wilmore has died, aged 57

Marc Wilmore, writer for many episodes of The Simpsons, has died aged 57, it has been confirmed.
In a statement posted to social media, Marc's brother Larry confirmed that he passed away after contracting Covid-19 while suffering from other health complications.
In the statement, he wrote: "My sweet sweet brother, Marc Edward Wilmore, passed away last night while battling COVID and other conditions that have had him in pain for many years".
"My brother was the kindest, gentlest, funniest, lion of an angel I’ve ever known. I love you little brother."
