The Northwestern Health Unit is reporting three new cases of COVID-19 within their catchment area. They say that there is one from each of the Kenora, Dryden/Red Lake and Sioux Lookout regions. All of the new cases seem to be as a result of travel. “A lot of what’s happening is that there’s exposure to a higher risk area, so there’s some type of travel or someone whos traveled from a higher risk area,” explains Medical Officer of Health Dr. Kit Young Hoon.” This has led to a bit of spread locally and because of households interacting, there’s a cluster of individuals.”
