HEART disease is still the number one killer in Malaysia, causing almost one in every four deaths. Even more alarming, this silent killer – once widely thought to only affect the older population – is now increasingly affecting those in the younger age bracket as well. It is becoming more and more common these days to hear of someone in their 20s and 30s having a heart attack.
