Here's how Las Cruces Public Schools is preparing for reentry LAS CRUCES – Las Cruces Public Schools will commence full reentry on Tuesday, meaning any students that want to return to in-person learning may do so. LCPS has decided to allow students in buildings Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, with Wednesday remaining a designated online learning day. The district ended last year and began this year in an online environment to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. Hybrid learning for small groups of students started the last week of February and first week of March. Then, on March 8, the state education department mandated districts to offer in-person learning by the week of April 5.
