WESTTOWN TOWNSHIPâA multi-jurisdictional, high-speed police pursuit in which a state trooper fired one round from his service revolver into a car ended after a successful PIT maneuver, ending in the capture of two people who had outstanding warrants. The incident began on Dec. 23 at 2 p.m. when a West Goshen Township police officer, on routine patrol, located a stolen vehicle at West Pleasant Grove Road and Wilmington Pike in Westtown Township. The officer attempted to initiate a traffic stop in the area of mile marker 13 of U.S. 202 northbound. The vehicle stopped briefly and then fled, according to police.
