Jan 25, 2021 4:00 AM PT Huawei has events where it pulls together key analysts to focus on problems it thinks are critical to the future. At its last event, Huawei spoke about two areas that need considerable work. One is that we need an international cybersecurity commission with teeth before some country accidentally starts WWIII with a cyberattack. The recent SolarWinds attack was a case in point. Allegedly from Russia, this attack penetrated some of the most secure facilities and could have resulted in a catastrophic failure in infrastructure, potentially resulting in mass loss of life. We got lucky this time and may not be so lucky the next.
