Highland man charged with Class X meth felony Scott Cousins, scousins@thetelegraph.com FacebookTwitterEmail EDWARDSVILLE — A Highland man was charged with a methamphetamine-related Class X felony on Wednesday, one of several drug-related charges filed by the Madison County State’s Attorney’s Office. Tyler S. Basye, 36, of Highland, was charged with unlawful possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, a Class X felony. The case was presented by the Granite City Police Department. According to court documents, on March 31 Basye allegedly was found to be in possession of between 15-100 grams of methamphetamine with the intent to deliver. Bail was set at $100,000.
