(WTOC) - âTook me a couple of days to realize we really won a national championship.â A little more than a week later, Hinesville native and NCAA champion Davion Mitchell is still getting messages about his championship win. âPeople have been hitting me up. I am like âWhoâs this?â But yeah, itâs just been everyone hitting me,â Mitchel said. The junior guard is well-known in Liberty County as he led the Liberty County High School Panthers to its first GHSA state title in 2016.
