Holmen High School student-run store raises more than $11,000 for classmate battling leukemia December 14, 2020 11:49 PM Molly Ringberg Updated: HOLMEN, Wis. (WKBT) – A semester-long project is really paying off. Last week Holmen High School seniors in an entrepreneurship class launched their own online store called ‘Lockdown Lodge.’ The project is giving them valuable business skills, while also making a difference for someone in our community. Because of the pandemic, this was the first year students opened an all-online store. And even though it was only open for a week, it ended up being a huge success. They received 101 orders and raised $11,317! The money is being used to help their friend and classmate, Drew Evenson, who was diagnosed with leukemia in October.
