NEW DELHI: Indian Council of Medical Research on Wednesday cleared one home testing kit for detecting Covid-19 infections and also issued an advisory for its use. The ICMR chief, Dr Balram Bhargava, had recently said the government is exploring home testing solutions to increase the testing capacity as the country battles the much severe second wave of Coroanvirus. The testing kit is likely to be available in the market in a week's time.
