Mar 15, 2021 A man is accused of attempting to abduct a baby in Amherst. Police say Jimmy Lee Sanchez broke into a home on Spring Street overnight Saturday and tried to exit the place with a twenty-month-old child. Authorities say the parents were able to get the child back, suffering minor injuries in the process. The parents reportedly told police they did not know the suspect. Sanchez is expected to be arraigned in Eastern Hampshire District Court on Monday on charges including attempted kidnapping. (Photo Credit: EyeEm)
