Houma murder suspect arrested during car stop in Thibodaux, police say Staff A suspect wanted for murder in Terrebonne Parish was recently arrested during a car stop in Thibodaux, police said. Landon Johnson, 23, of Napoleonville, is facing pending murder charges in Terrebonne but was arrested Tuesday in Thibodaux on charges of driving without a license, improper turning and possession of firearm by a convicted felon, the Thibodaux Police Department said. Police were patrolling around 8:30 p.m. near the intersection of Midland Drive and Bobby Street when they saw a 2006 Ford Crown Victoria fail to use turn signal, authorities said. After initiating a traffic stop, police identified the driver as Johnson and learned he had an active warrant in Terrebonne.
