Hudson Reporter How the tables have turned The city council adopted the amended Silk Lofts redevelopment plan, but not without drama × The Silk Lofts at 154 Avenue E After months, the Bayonne City Council finally adopted an ordinance approving the amended Silk Lofts redevelopment plan at its Jan. 20 meeting. Last October, the Bayonne Planning Board approved the amended Silk Lofts Redevelopment Plan, which allows for approximately 251 additional units to be constructed across the street and south of the existing building at 154 Avenue E. The amended plan had been tabled twice upon request by City Council President Sharon Ashe-Nadrowski, who wanted to wait for Second Ward Councilman Sal Gullace to be present and speak on the matter since it concerns the second ward.
