HENDERSON, Ky. — Henderson police arrested two people found unconscious in a parked vehicle early Friday morning. Garrett Bennett, 28, 2300 block of Carter Drive, and Kaitlyn Trainer, 26, Sebree, were each arrested on a charge of first-degree possession of a controlled substance. Bennett was additionally charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. HPD officers allege that around 1 a.m. Friday, Bennett and Trainer were found passed out in a gray Monte Carlo found at Red Banks Park on Merritt Drive. Inside police said they found Bennett "clutching a clear glass pipe with white residue believed to be methamphetamine," according to a news release said.
