There have been 3,484 reports of suspected side effects from COVID-19 vaccines administered in Ireland, the latest figures from the Health Products Regulatory Authority (HPRA) show. The agency, which monitors the safety of medicines, said the most commonly reported side effects are in line with those typically associated with vaccinations such as headaches, muscle pain and nausea. The HRPA also said there have been no reports of the side effects found by the Norwegian Medicines Agency, which led Ireland and some EU nations to temporarily suspend use of the AstraZeneca vaccine this week. The HRPA has received around 3,484 reports of suspended side effects from coronavirus vaccines.
