Toby Yoho Classic called off The annual Toby Yoho Classic holiday basketball tournament has been called off for 2020. The 12-team event scheduled for Dec. 29-30 at Eastern Greene, was shelved Wednesday because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Both the Brownstown Central and Trinity Lutheran girls teams were scheduled to compete in the tournament. Aaron Buskirk, the Eastern Greene High athletic director, issued a group email notifying athletic directors of the participating schools. In part it read: "After some discussion with my superintendent this week and some feedback from a couple of teams, we are going to have to cancel the Toby Yoho Classic for 2020," Buskirk wrote. "I hope that you can accept my sincere apologies for having to do this, but we feel the risk of bringing 12 teams into our school only a few days after Christmas for a tight window of a two-day tournament is just too much."
