Local teams in holiday hoops tournaments Staff Reports ‘Tis the season for holiday basketball tournaments. While a boys tournament at Henryville and a girls tournament at Eastern Greene have been called off, three tournaments involving Jackson County teams are scheduled for Saturday and next week with some tweaking taking place along the way. The Crothersville girls holiday tournament will be played Saturday with Crothersville facing Rising Sun at 10 a.m., followed by Providence taking on Indianapolis Scecina. The consolation game will be at 6 p.m., followed by the championship game. The Ben Emkes Holiday Classic girls tournament will be played at the Bollinger Athletic Complex on Monday.
