May 12, 2021 I LOVED Audioslave's 2002 self-titled debut album. Good gosh. From the built up riff in "Cochise," to the blazing "Show Me How To Live" opening up the album, I don't believe there's any filler songs on this album. It had 4 gosh-darn singles, and those weren't even the best songs, in my opinion. HOT TAKE - the greatest track on that album is "Shadow on the Sun" (featured in Collateral with Jamie Foxx and Tom Cruise - a great movie btw). But oh how apropos. Listen to "Gasoline," friends. And complain all you want, as we watch the world burn. Maybe listen to Tool's Vicarious afterward.
