May 25, 2021 I don’t blame Gordon Jackson, honestly. He’s in a situation where he’s doing the work of a couple of people, as so many are in this day and age. In fact, if the Paper of Record doesn’t hire a replacement for Taylor Cooper come football season, Gordon may be doing three jobs as I’ve seen him covering ball games in recent years, too. Gordon has for a number of years been the PoR’s reporter covering goings-on in the city. With the recent departure of Taylor Cooper for much greener pastures, it seems he has assumed the work of covering the county, as well.
