Netflix has released a teaser trailer for a new sports film titled in full Baggio: The Divine Ponytail, also known as Il Divin Codino (which is just “ The Divine Ponytail“) in Italian. The Netflix feature is a biopic revolving around Roberto Baggio’s stellar 22-year career in Italian Football, including THAT World Cup final against Brazil. The movie also features his difficult debut as a player and his deep rifts with some of his coaches.
Baggio inspired entire generations to play football, he made us fall in love with the beautiful game, and his sticker was one of the highly-requested ones in the iconic Panini album. Baggio can easily be defined as a unique footballer, capable of thrilling fans all over the world.
