Juniper Green Energy has announced that it has achieved over 1.2 GW of renewable energy generation capacity after securing new power purchase agreements/letters of award for unspecified wind and solar projects over the last few months. The projects were procured via competitive bidding and e-reverse auctions held by Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam and Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Companies. The completed projects will produce 1.4bn kWh of clean energy p.a. and reduce CO2 emissions by around 1.3 million tonnes, with the potential to power 280,000 households.
