Border Security Force: India, Bangladesh border forces vow to stop attacks on security personnel

India and Bangladesh's border forces have agreed to reduce attacks on BSF personnel by criminals from Bangladesh along the 4,096-km International Border. The 54th bi-annual Director General level talks between BSF and BGB in Dhaka ended with a joint agreement to increase coordinated patrols, educate bordering populations, and aid victims of human trafficking. Both sides also agreed on developmental works, sharing real-time information on crimes, and maintaining peace at the border.
